A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE NOMINATION AND
APPOINTMENT OF DEBORAH R. SALLINGS TO THE
LITTLE ROCK AMBULANCE AUTHORITY TO FILL
THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF BERNICE
SANDERS.
WSSRF.AS, Resolution Number 8,540 (August 6, 1991) ratified
the reappointment of Bernice Sanders to the Board of Directors of
the Little Rock, Arkansas, Emergency Medical Health Care
Facilities Board (known as the Little Rock Ambulance Authority)
for a second five -year term commencing July 21, 1991; and
WHEREAS, Bernice Sanders has resigned her position on the
Little Rock Ambulance Authority Board; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Ambulance Authority Board has
voted to appoint Deborah R. Sallings to fill the unexpired term of
Bernice Sanders, said term expiring July 21, 1996, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The appointment of Deborah R. Sallings to the
Board of Directors of the Little Rock Ambulance Authority to fill
the unexpired term of Bernice Sanders, said term expiring July 21,
1996, is hereby ratified.
SECTION 2: This appointment is the first appointment to a
full term for Deborah R. Sallings since this Board adopted Little
Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 8096 (February 1, 1989) which sets a
policy concerning appointments to city boards and commissions.
