A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
OF A HOUSING ASSISTANCE PLAN TO
INCLUDE SECTION 8 PROJECT BASED
CERTIFICATES FOR THE LITTLE ROCK
HOUSING AUTHORITY.

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, has requested that the City of Little Rock Board
of Directors amend the City's Housing Assistance Plan, to
provide for replacement of eight (8) low -rent public housing
units scheduled for demolition in the Hollinsworth Grove
Low -Rent Public Housing Project, Project No. ARK 4 -5, with eight
(8) Section 8 Project Based Certificates; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the above action on
the part of the City of Little Rock, will be in the best
interests of the citizens of the City of Little Rock and most
beneficial to the operations of the City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Approval is hereby given to amend and approve
the City of Little Rock's Housing Assistance Plan to provide for
replacement of eight (8) low -rent public housing units scheduled
for demolition in the Hollinsworth Grove Low -Rent Public Housing
Project, Project No. ARK 4 -5, with eight (8) Section 8 Project
Based Certificates.
