A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
AWARD CONTRACTS FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING
SERVICES FOR CDBG STREET AND DRAINAGE PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2 -243 of the Little Rock
Code of Ordinances, the Professional Services Selection
Committee reviewed requests for qualification for consulting
engineering services for CDBG street and drainage projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter
into a CDBG engineering contract with Grimes Consulting
Engineers, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $27,237 for design
engineering for reconstruction of Foster Street from 32nd to
46th and Russ Street from Arkansas Highway 10 to its north end.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is also authorized to enter
into a CDBG engineering contract with Blaylock, Threet,
Phillips and Associates in an amount not to exceed $29,951.10
for design engineering for reconstruction of Holt Street from
44th to Asher Avenue, West 32nd Street from John Barrow to
Tatum, and sidewalks on Pine Street from Markham to West 7th
Street.
SECTION 3: Funding is available under the Community
Development Block Grant Program, Account No 91- 16102 -1 for the
Holt Street Project and Account No. 91- 16102 -2 for the Foster
Street Project.
