A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD AN ANNUAL CONTRACT
TO AL RIGHT L.R., INC. TO LEASE CITY PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 2ND AND SCOTT STREETS FOR THE PURPOSE
OF OPERATING A PARKING LOT.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award an annual contract to Allright L. R., Inc. in the amount
of $57,000 a year to be paid in monthly installments or 60% of the
gross receipts taken, whichever is greater, to lease City property
located at 2nd and Scott Streets for the purpose of operating a
parking lot with option to renew the lease for a period of one
year at the same price for up to two (2) more lease terms.

RECOMMENDATION AND DISCUSSION: It is recommended that the bid
submitted by Allright L. R. Inc. be accepted. This bid is for the
operation of a parking lot on city property located at 2nd & Scott.
Allright has bid $57,000 a year to be paid in monthly installments
or 60% of the gross receipts taken whichever is greater. Previous
revenues to be city has been approximately $42,000 per year. It is
further recommended that this contract be extended for two
additional years if mutually acceptable per the terms of the bid
and with City Manager's approval.
