A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD CONTRACTS FOR THE FAIR
PARK TO BIAKE14ORE DITCH CDBG STREET CONSTRUCTION
PROTECT AND THE WEST 14TH STREET CDBG STREET
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
accept bids and award a contract to Township Builders, Inc. in
an amount not to exceed $300,000 ($276,628 contract amount plus
contingencies) for the Fair Park to Blakemore Ditch CDBG street
construction project.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is also authorized to accept
bids and award a contract to Gene Summers Construction in an
amount not to exceed $180,000 ($162,870.96 contract amount plus
contingencies) for the West 14th Street CDBG street construction
project.
SECTION 3: Funding is available under the Community
Development Block Grant Program, Account No. 91- 16100 -2 for
Fair Park to Blakemore Ditch and Account No. 91- 16100 -1 and
91- 16100 -5 for West 14th Street.
