RESOLUTION NO. 8,429
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF THREE FRONT MOUNTED TRACTOR
MOWERS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN AND GENERAL
SERVICES /FLEET SERVICES DIVISION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept
bids and award a contract to Golf Cars of Arkansas in an amount not
to exceed $25,045.20 for the purchase of three front mounted
tractor mowers for the Department of Human and Department of Human
and General Services /Fleet Services Division.

RECOMMENDATION AND DISCUSSION: It is recommended that the bid
submitted by Golf Cars of Arkansas be accepted. The low bids
submitted by Cantrell Lawn & Turf and Turfaid were rejected as both
failed to submit any information pertaining to the bid request for
brand, model, engine make and transmission as required. Without
this required information it was impossible to determine what they
were intending to provide.
