3 A RESOLUTION TO SET OCTOBER 5, 2026, AS THE DATE FOR A
4 PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE ISSUANCE OF UP TO
5 SEVENTEEN MILLION DOLLARS ($17,000,000.00) IN WASTE
6 DISPOSAL REVENUE BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING ALL
7 OR A PORTION OF THE COST OF ACQUIRING ESSENTIAL VEHICLES
8 AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE CITY'S WASTE COLLECTION AND
9 DISPOSAL SYSTEM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock,Arkansas(the "City")owns and operates a waste collection and
12 disposal system (the "System") and it is critical to maintain municipal sanitation, essential public health
13 and welfare of the City's residents;and,
14 WHEREAS, the City has determined that the acquisition of additional waste disposal vehicles and
15 equipment is necessary to maintain this essential System.
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. A public hearing to consider the issuance of Waste Disposal Revenue Bonds(the "Bonds")
19 in the maximum aggregate principal amount of Seventeen Million Dollars ($17,000,000.00) shall be held
20 by the Board of Directors on Monday, October 5th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter
21 comes on the call of the agenda. The hearing shall be held in the Board Chambers on the 2nd floor of City
22 Hall, located at 500 West Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas. All interested persons shall have an
23 opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed issuance of the Bonds.
24 Section 2. These Waste Disposal Revenue Bonds will be repaid by the Waste Disposal Fund over the
25 life of the bonds.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally part of this
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same which are inconsistent
32 with the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
