3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH SUPERION,
5 LLC, FOR FALSE ALARM TRACKING AND BILLING SERVICES; AND
6 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock has adopted ordinances regulating alarm systems and false alarm
9 responses in order to reduce unnecessary dispatches of police personnel and improve the efficient use of
10 public safety resources;and
11 WHEREAS,the City has previously contracted with Superion,LLC,to provide specialized false alarm
12 tracking, billing, collection, reporting, and customer service functions related to the City's False Alarm
13 Ordinance; and
14 WHEREAS, Superion, LLC, has demonstrated the ability to provide these services efficiently while
15 maintaining accurate records,providing customer support,and assisting the City with administration of the
16 False Alarm Program;and
17 WHEREAS, renewal of the agreement will allow the City to continue effective administration of its
18 False Alarm Program while reducing administrative burdens on the Little Rock Police Department and
19 improving compliance with the City's False Alarm Ordinance.
20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
22 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to extend the agreement for five (5)
23 years while maintaining the same terms and conditions as the previous agreement,dated March 5,2019.
24 Section 2. The agreement shall be based on a revenue share process where contractor shall be paid as
25 a designated percentage of the revenues generated by the contractor.
26 Section 3.Severability.In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word
27 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional,such declaration or adjudication
28 shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
29 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this resolution are
31 hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
