3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
4 RESOLUTION NO. 17,000 (MARCH 17, 2026) TO ADD THE FLORIDA
5 SHERIFF'S ASSOCIATION COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM
6 AS AN AUTHORIZED VENDOR,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS,cooperative purchasing contracts are beneficial in that they provide access to pre-
9 negotiated contracts for goods and services and help secure better terms, reduce costs, and streamline the
10 procurement process by eliminating the need for the City to engage in competitive bidding;and
11 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock ("City") has a need to enter into an additional cooperative
12 purchasing contract;and,
13 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock Board of Directors approved City of Little Rock, Arkansas
14 Resolution No. 16,954 on February 3,2026,approving the use of twenty-one(21)cooperatives;and,
15 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock Board of Directors approved City of Little Rock, Arkansas
16 Resolution No. 17,000 on March 17, 2026, approving membership and usage of an additional cooperative
17 purchasing organization for procurement purposes; and,
18 WHEREAS,the City wishes to enter into this cooperative purchasing contract with the Florida Sheriffs
19 Association Cooperative Purchasing Program in a form and format approved by the City Attorney.
20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
22 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a cooperative purchasing contract with the
23 Florida Sheriffs Association Cooperative Purchasing Program in a form and format approved by the City
24 Attorney.
25 Section 2.Severability.In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word
26 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional,such declaration or adjudication
27 shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
28 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
29 Section 3. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of the is resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
