Re: Planned Zoning Development Application — ACTS Senior Village
Dear Planning and Zoning Department,
On behalf of ACT Community Temple of Servants and ACTS Churches, I respectfully submit
this cover letter in support of our Planned Zoning Development Application for ACTS Senior
Village.
Legal Description of Project Site
The property is legally described as: West 112 Block 158, Lots 6-12 of Block 132 and 157, John
Barrow Road Addition, City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Project Description
ACTS Senior Village is envisioned as a vibrant, multi -phase community development initiative.
Phase I, targeted to begin construction in Spring 2026, will feature:
• Tiny Senior Homes — single -level residences designed with two bedrooms and two -car
driveways, providing safe and accessible housing for senior residents.
• Community Garden — a shared green space dedicated to growing organic vegetables,
fostering wellness and healthy living.
■ Food Processing and Container Farm — a fully assembled, on -site agricultural system
to support local food sustainability.
• Worship Center and Community Gathering Place — a spiritual and social hub
designed to bring together residents and neighbors in the Barrow Road community.
• Fresh Food and Pop -Up Market — a platform for small business growth and economic
development, offering opportunities for local entrepreneurship.
Community Engagement and Planning
We have initiated outreach to the Barrow Road Neighborhood Association and are awaiting a
scheduled date to present our plans to area residents. Our engineering and architectural teams are
actively engaged in the design and planning process, and they will continue to provide
professional guidance as we move through the approval and building stages.
Commitment to Partnership
Our goal is to work collaboratively with the Planning Department, the City of Little Rock, and
the Building Permitting Division to ensure ACTS Senior Village aligns with community needs
and regulatory requirements. We are deeply committed to making a lasting, positive impact by
enhancing housing options, supporting small business development, and creating spaces that
encourage connection, growth, and opportunity.
