'he property owner of the 4.08 acre property located in the
600 Block of Jamison Road (east side) is requesting that the
onina be reclassified from R-2 to I-2 and OS.

Approval of the Ordinance.
The owner of the 4.08 acre property located in the7600 block
of Jamison Road (east side) is requesting that the property be
rezoned from "R-2" Single -Family District, to "I-2" Light
Industrial District and "OS" Open Space District.
The property is undeveloped and mostly wooded.
The applicant proposes to rezone the property as follows:
West 1.38 acres — from R-2 to I-2
East 2.70 acres (floodway) — from R-2 to OS
The property is designated as "I" Industrial and "PK/OS" on
the City's Future Land Use Plan. The proposed rezoning will
not require an amendment to the plan.
BACKGROUND
CONTINUED
On April 9, 2026 the Planning Commission voted 8 ayes, 0
noes, 2 absent, and 1 open position, to approve the I-2 and OS
rezoning. There was one objector present.
All owners of property located within 300 feet of the site and
all neighborhood associations registered with the City of Little
Rock were notified of the public hearing.

3 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE
4 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS,
5 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
6 LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
9 ROCK, ARKANSAS.

11 Section 1. That the zoning classification of the following described property be and is
12 hereby changed as indicated:

14 Z-10281 - DESCRIBED AS PART OF THE NEI/4 NE1/4 SECTION 32, TOWNSHIP
15 1 NORTH, RANGE 12 WEST, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, MORE
16 PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT A COMPUTED
17 POINT FOR THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SAID NEI/4 NE1/4 AND RUN
18 THENCE N86052'12"W - 1344.73 FEET ALONG THE SOUTH LINE THEREOF
19 TO A FOUND 1/2" REBAR LOCATED ON THE EAST RIGHT OF WAY OF
20 JAMISON STREET FOR THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE SAID NEI/4
21 NE1/4; THENCE N21134'1711E - 132.13 FEET ALONG SAID RIGHT OF WAY AND
22 THE WEST LINE OF THE AFORESAID NEI/4 NE1/4 TO A FOUND 5/8" REBAR;

1 THAT PORTION OF THE ABOVE REFERENCED PROPERTY THAT IS
2 LOCATED IN THE REGULATORY FLOODWAY SHALL BE ZONED "OS" OPEN
3 SPACE DISTRICT.

5 Section 2. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
6 of Little Rock, Arkansas, and designated district map be and it hereby amended to the extent
7 and in the respects necessary to affect and designate the change provided for in Section 1
8 hereof.
9 Section 3. That this Ordinance shall not take effect and be in full force 30 days after
10 the date of its passage and approval.
11 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
12 clause phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
13 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of
14 the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or
15 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the ordinance.
16 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
17 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
18 inconsistency.
