The subject property was originally purchased with the intention to be operated as a long-
term residential rental. Due to its immediate proximity to Arkansas Children's Hospital, we
are requesting approval to transition the property to a short-term rental use that serves a
specific community need. The property will primarily accommodate families and
individuals traveling for medical care who often experience unplanned or extended stays.
This use provides a residential, home -like alternative to traditional lodging while remaining
respectful to the surrounding neighborhood. The property will be professionally managed,
with established occupancy limits, house rules, local contact availability, and monitoring
procedures to ensure responsible guest behavior, parking compliance, and minimal
neighborhood impact.
