Applicant Comments for Proposed Development
Applicant responses are due no later than Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Please
submit revised site plans, if applicable, along with any written responses. All
documents should be submitted to this email address for review.

Development Staff Comments:
1. Provide a bill of assurance. If the property is not located in a subdivision with a bill of
assurance, submit a statement to that effect to staff.
2. Provide hours of operation (days/times) for the proposed use.
3. What type of vehicles will be sold? (autos only?).
4. Designate which portion of parking lot will be used for vehicle display and which
portion will be for staff/customer parking.
5. Outside storage of auto parts, etc., will not be allowed at any time.
6. All work on vehicles must take place within an enclosed building.
7. Vehicle salvage & storage of autos, RVs, ATVs, etc., will not be allowed at any time.
8. Provide maximum number of employees at any given time.
9. How will the existing building in the eastern portion of the property be used in
relationship to the proposed auto sales use?
10. All signs must comply with Section 36-555 (signs permitted in commercial zones).
11. How will trash be collected? Any dumpster placed on the site must be screened and
comply with Section 36-523 of the City’s Zoning Ordinance.
12. Any fence or wall erected must comply with Section 36-516 of the City’s Zoning
Ordinance.
13. All site lighting must be low-level and directed away from adjacent properties.
