Re: STR-2 Application for 5614 H St., LR AR 72205
The following STR-2 application is respectfully submitted for rezoning of the above named
property (5614 H St. LR AR 72205) from the current R-2 to PD-C for use as a Short Term
Rental property.
The Bill of Assurance was difficult to locate due to the age of the property. With assistance
from the Clerk's office, several documents were located pertaining to the property.
However, the document's legibility is difficult to read.
The property will be listed on Airbnb and VRBO for use as a short term rental property for 1-
7 guests. Parking will be in the driveway (up to 4 cars), with no on -street parking. The
property will have quiet hours after 11:00pm. The grounds will be serviced by a 3rd party
yard maintenance company.
Unfortunately, the owner was unaware of the required zoning application for short term
rentals and the property has been used as a Short Term Rental for the since Sept. 2023. It
has primarily been rented for family visits, UAMS hospital visits and vacationers. The
property has received the highest ratings from Airbnb and VRBO (see attached), receiving
many favorable comments.
