Good afternoon,
I am writing to formally notify you that, based on the continued negative feedback surrounding our application and the clear likelihood that any decision—regardless of outcome—would
be appealed, we will be shifting course and pursuing a different project location.
After careful consideration, it has become undeniable that continuing to pursue the Sheraton Drive site would significantly delay implementation of the project. We are operating under
firm funding deadlines, and the anticipated appeal timeline would prevent us from meeting those obligations.
As a result, we are actively working toward acquiring an alternative location at 6900 Pecan Avenue, which already aligns with our zoning needs and allows us to move forward within the
required timeframe.
I appreciate the time and effort your office has provided throughout this process and wanted to ensure you were promptly informed of this decision. Should circumstances change in the
future, we will follow the appropriate channels at that time.
Thank you for your professionalism and support.
