Approval of the Ordinance.
The applicant requests to rezone the 0.36 acre property located
at the southeast corner of Colonel Glenn Road and Marigold
Drive from "R-2" Single -Family District to "R-4" Two -
Family District. The rezoning is proposed for future
development of the site.
The property is currently undeveloped and partially tree
covered. The property is located in an area of mixed uses and
zoning. Properties immediately to the south and west contain
single-family residences. Commercial zoning and uses are
located further west. A PD-O zoned office development is
located across Colonel Glenn Road to the north. A commercial
development is located to the east.
The City's Future Land Use Plan designates this property as

On March 12, 2026 the Planning Commission voted 7 ayes, 0
no-ess, 1. abse-11-1-F, and 1 open position, to the P-4
All owners of property located within 300 feet of the site and
all neighborhood associations registered with the City of Little
Rock were notified of the public hearing.

3 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE
4 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
5 ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND
6 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
9 ROCK, ARKANSAS.

11 Section 1. That the zoning classification of the following described property be and is
12 hereby changed as indicated:

14 Z-10232-A - DESCRIBED AS LOT 14, BEASLEY' S ADDITION TO THE
15 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS: FROM
16 "R-2" SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT TO "R-4" TWO-FAMILY
17 DISTRICT (SOUTHWEST CORNER OF COLONEL GLEN ROAD
18 AND MARIGOLD DRIVE).

20 Section 2. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the
21 City of Little Rock and designated district map be and is hereby amended to the extent and
22 in the respects necessary to affect and designate the change provided for in Section 1
23 hereof.

25 Section 3. That the Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force 30 days after the
26 date of its passage and approval.

28 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
29 clause phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
30 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of
31 the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or
32 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the ordinance.

Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
