Also, there are some issue separately. 1.) Coordinate the relocation of the steel column in the lobby with Steve Harrison @ Engineering Consultants Inc It is his column. It was originally placed in that locati due to some heavy file systems on the floor above. However, we understand this fi en system has recently moved further south ---which it seems to us, would be all the more reason to move the column. 2.) There was some question as to how we would finish the wall that wilt overlap the windows in the pre/post operating areas. It was suggested that window tinting might be an alternative. Upon further consideration, this will not be a viable solution. The glass is not heat strengthened and the heat build-up in the cavity between the glass would probabty shatter the glazing. Therefore, we would like to price painting this side of the wall that faces the exterior windows. 3.) Please compare what the Owner currently has an hand inside the space to see what is salvagabie for this space. if it is determined that some items might in fact be useful, Please list these things for the owner's consideration in order to save a little money and avoid being wasteful. Spine Center 2nd Floor Dear Mr. Hurley: The following items need to be addressed before a permit may be issued for this project. This project was reviewed as Business Occupancy. The code analysis states that the 1992 AFPC was used for this project, but the State and Little Rock are under the 1997 addition. 1. If the steel column that is referred to in the letter is moved or removed provide a letter £ 070r from the Engineering Firm stating that this process is permissible. 2. Written approval from the State Health Department, Plumbing Division, must be obtained for all commercial buildings prior to issuance of the building permit. Contact Jim Ward at 661-2000 with any questions. 3. A complete lay -out of the sprinkler system and specifications shall be submitted to and approved by the Little Rock Fire Deparpnent prior to installation. Contact Dennis Free at 371-4796 with any questions.- C, 4. Mount the accessible commode 18 inches off the side wall and install a 36" grab bar on the rear and a 42" grab bar on the side. Mount the accessible lavatory at 34 inches and provide 29 inch leg clearance. Insulate the drain and hot water lines and mount the mirror at 38 inches to the bottom. Please note the mirror height. 5. The Plumbing Department has rejected the plan as submitted. Contact Ronnie Campbell with any questions at 501-371-4840. a.
