3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH CDW-G, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
5 SEVENTY-ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-EIGHT AND
6 21/100 DOLLARS ($71,288.21), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES,
7 TO RENEW THE CITY'S VEEAM BACK-UP AND RECOVERY
8 SOFTWARE SERVICES TO ENSURE CONTINUED ACCESS TO
9 TECHNICAL SUPPORT, SOFTWARE UPDATES, AND LICENSE
10 COVERAGE FOR OUR CURRENT DATA CENTER ENVIRONMENT,FOR A
11 TERM OF 1 YEAR;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

13 WHEREAS, it is essential for the City's Information Technology Department to have reliable, robust
14 data protection, back-up and recovery capabilities to safeguard critical City information and maintain
15 operational continuity; and,
16 WHEREAS,the City has contracted with CDW-G to provide essential VEEAM Back-up and Recovery
17 Software since 2024 on an annual basis;and,
18 WHEREAS,the Information Technology Department has a need to renew the contract with CDW-G
19 for recovery and back-up software for another one(1)-year term; and,
20 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock,Ark. Resolution No. 16,603 (February 18, 2025), as amended,
21 vendor selection of CDW-G to be the City's contract provider of VEEAM recovery and back-up software
22 provider was made through Sourcewell Contract No. 121923 CDWG-Software GOV ONLY; and,
23 WHEREAS,attached hereto as Exhibit A,the cost to renew the City's VEEAM Back-up and Recovery
24 Software contract for the period of one(1)year is Seventy-One Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-Eight and
25 21/100 Dollars($71,288.21).
26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
27 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
28 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with CDW-G, in the amount of
29 Seventy-One Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-Eight and 21/100 Dollars($71,288.21), including applicable
30 taxes and fees,to renew the City's VEEAM Back-up and Recovery Software Services for a term of one 01)
31 year.
32 Section 2. Funds for this expenditure are available in Information Technology Network Re-Occurring
33 Maintenance Account No. 103030-61350 and the Special Projects Account No. 108309-63211-530A993..

1 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
2 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
3 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
4 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
5 resolution.
6 Section 4.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
7 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
