The drawings do not detail the ramp such as slope and if this will be used as a wheel chair accessible entry. Accessible entries require that the area perpendicular to the entry be 60 inches deep. 2. YUl materials used in the ceiling return air plenum are required to be constructed entirely of noncombustible materials as per Section 609.1.7 of the 1997 Standard Mechanical Code. All wires, cables, phone lines, computer lines, etc, are required to be plenum approved. PVC and ABS piping is not allowed in a return air plenum. 3. Exit lights are required as per Section 1016.3 SBCCI 1997. Be mindful that there are situations where exit signs in normally acceptable locations have been obscured by ducts, equipment installations, store fixtures, and office fiarniture. Additional signs may be required to provide safe exiting. 4. The Plumbing Department has accepted the plans with the following conditions. Contact Ronnie Campbell with any questions at 501-371-4840. a. Next time provide isometric drawings on all new DWV, water and gas. b. We will field inspect it this time to insure that it meets current codes. 5. The Electrical Department has approved the plans subject to compliance with city ordinances.
