SUBJECT: Permit for 1422 Rock
This memo serves as administrative approval from the Little Rock Historic District
Commission allowing the property owner and/or contractor of 1422 Rock (located within
the MacArthur Park Historic District) permission to obtain a building permit for general
repairs (roof, windows, etc) due to the damage caused by the January tornado. Also, I
understand that interior repairs will be made. These repairs are allowed within the local
ordinance historic district without a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA); as such, and
meeting all city, building and health regulations, the application for a building permit
should be approved. Should repair work be more extensive and require additional
approval from the LRHDC, the applicant is aware of the requirements.
