Anne Guthrie, Historic Preservation Administrator DATE: 12 April 1999 SUBJECT: Permit for 1410 Rock This memo serves as administrative approval from the Little Rock Historic District Commission allowing Unique Home Builders, agent for the property owner of 1410 Rock (located within the MacArthur Park Historic District) permission to obtain a building permit. I understand that the permit is for repairs and rehabilitation of the structure due to damage caused by the January 21 tornado; all repairs will be performed in conformance to the structure and will not introduce new materials, alter the outline or change the configuration. General repairs and maintenance of the structure is allowed within the local ordinance historic district without a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA); as such, and meeting all city, building and health regulations, the application for a building permit should be approved. The owner of the property was given approval for a COA in March, meeting the Design Review Guidelines of the MacArthur Park Historic District and the city ordinance. A
