Walls: Your cover letter states Hardie Board. Please state model number of siding, orientation, and finish. Also, state size, material, finish, and model number of any trim boards
around doors and windows. Siding and trim boards need to be shown on the drawings. Include floor to ceiling height on all floors and porches.
Windows: Specify brand, model number, finish, and size for all windows.
Doors: Specify brand, model number, finish, and size for all exterior doors.
Lighting: Specify location, brand, model number, finish, and size for all exterior lighting either affixed to house, garage, or freestanding.
Gutters: Show locations of gutters on elevations with size and materials of guttering and downspouts.
Mechanical Systems: State location of any exterior air conditioning/heating system units.
Satellite Dishes: State location and details on any satellite dish. If not using a dish, please state so.
Roof: Provide pitch of all roofs and depth of all eaves.
Roofing: Your cover letter states a 29-gauge standing seam roof in Grey. Provide a manufacturer, model number, finish, and size for roofing material.
Chimney: You stated that you were not building chimneys on this house. Please confirm.
Solar Collectors: Provide details on locations, size, material, and finish.
Fencing on site: Provide details and locations on fencing, size, material, and finish.
Site Plan: Provide site plan with dimension of setbacks on house, garage, and fencing.
Walks/Sidewalks/Drives: Provide information on city sidewalk repair or replacement. Provide information on any private sidewalks and vehicular drive/parking pads with size, materials,
and finish.
Landscaping: Provide details on any wall, planting bed border, or any other fixed inert building material used in permanent landscaping structures.
Elevations: Submit dimensioned elevations for height and width of all elevations.
Garage: Provide all information listed above for garage.
Signage: Provide details on locations, size, material, and finish of all signs.

The [repair of porch flooring in-kind] can be administratively reviewed by staff, as this is considered ordinary maintenance. A Certificate of Appropriateness can be provided pending
additional submittal requirements: a completed COA application (page 5 only), photographs of the [existing porch floor], proof of ownership, and list of materials. The owner, or their
authorized agent, will need to complete the Certificate of Appropriateness application—Page 5 of the attached application packet—and return this for review along with the requested
submittal documents. Please make sure the description provided in the COA application is reflective of the full scope of work for this project. You are welcome to provide these documents
via email.

Please see the attached letter and filing fee receipt completed Certificate of Appropriateness application to the Little Rock Historic District Commission for xxx at xxx. Your application
will be heard at the xxx public hearing. The hearing will start at 4:00pm in the Board Room at City Hall at 500 W. Markham, Little Rock, 72201. Please follow instructions exactly for
public notification requirements as outline in the COA application document.
Remember to send staff a copy of the completed public notice letter with the correct public hearing date, location, and time and signed by the applicant. The public notice letter must
be legible and reflect the full scope of work for the requested project. Additionally,
remember to provide staff with the list of addresses obtained from a licensed abstractor before sending the certified letter to surrounding property owners.

The original COA will be mailed to the owner’s mailing address listed with the county assessor. Please upload the attached copy of the signed COA to your building permit application
when you apply in the permit portal.
The COA, or the copy, is required to be posted to the property in a location visible from the public right-of-way during your project work. This is primarily for our code enforcement
officers and surrounding neighbors to see that the work has been permitted.
Once you have completed the work and are ready for inspection, a COA inspection will need to be scheduled in addition to regular inspection types relevant to the project scope. At this
time, please reach out to schedule a date and time at your convenience to review the work and complete the COA inspection.
