Thom,
Please see attached copy of the signed COC for your project at 922-924 Cumberland. The original COC
will be mailed to the owner’s mailing address listed with the county assessor or can be picked up at the
Planning & Development Department at 723 W. Markham . Please upload the attached copy of the signed
COA to your building permit application when you apply in the permit portal.
The COC, or the copy, is required to be posted to the property in a location visible from the public right-
of-way during your project work. This is primarily for our code enforcement officers and surrounding
neighbors to see that the work has been permitted.
Once you have completed the work and are ready for inspection, a COA inspection will need to be
scheduled in addition to regular inspection types relevant to the project scope. At this time, please reach
out to schedule a date and time at your convenience to review the work and complete the COA
inspection.
Thanks,

Yes, the ridge vents will need to be covered with the architectural shingles in order, like the photo attached. Let me
add this to the approval.

I’m not sure. He’s going to pick up the form on Monday to confirm if we need to put it on there?

Looks pretty good to me! The drip flashing will be installed :) and a chimney cricket will be updated, since the
chimney is large (per code). All new flashings, and ridge vents will be installed along with real ridge caps versus 3-
tab. Thanks for the quick turn around. V/R,
Thom

Good afternoon, Thom,
Please see attached draft Certificate of Compliance for your project at 922-
924 Cumberland. Please review this draft and confirm if the COA reflects the
full scope of your project. Once confirmed, Staff will then sign and send a
copy back to you for your records.
Additionally, James Ballard (sp?) called to regarding the reroof project. It
sounds like he is on the path to getting any necessary roofing permits. If
you’d like to forward him the signed copy of this document, he’ll need it to
apply for the roof permit if one is required. I also let him know that I could
leave a copy of the permit here for him to pick up Monday since I will be out
of town. Just want to keep you in the loop.
Thanks,
