3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MNLRF, LLC D/B/A MARK MCLARTY
5 FORD, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND,
6 FOUR HUNDRED NINETY-NINE DOLLARS ($61,499.00), PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1)
8 2026 FORD TRANSIT-350 CARGO VAN FOR USE BY LITTLE ROCK
9 POLICE DEPARTMENT'S SPECIAL WEAPONS AND TACTICAL
1 0 RESPONSE UNIT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, it is essential that the Little Rock Police Department ("LRPD") be equipped with reliable
13 tools and equipment ensuring officers to ensure operational readiness and safety; and,
14 WHEREAS, LRPD's Special Weapons and Tactical Response Unit has a need to replace the older
15 transport vehicle due to high mileage and costly maintenance; and,
16 WHEREAS, the City solicited bids for this necessary purchase under Bid No. 2283 51; and,
17 WHEREAS, vendor selection of McLarty Ford to provide the 2026 Ford Transit-350 Cargo Van was;
18 as McLarty Ford was the lowest of two (2) responsive bidders and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with MNLRF, LLC doing business
as Mark McLarty Ford, in the amount of Sixty-One Thousand, Four Hundred Ninety-Nine Dollars
($61,499.00), plus applicable taxes and taxes, for the purchase of one (1) 2026 Ford Transit-350 Cargo Van.
Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in Little Rock Police Department's Grant funded
Account No. 2705829-72300-G52P233.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
