3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE EXTENSION OF THE
4 TEMPORARY ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT FOR ONE(1)DAY ON JUNE
5 13, 2026, FROM 10:00 A.M. TO 10:00 P.M., FOR THE OPERATION OF AN
6 OUTDOOR DINING AREA IN RESPONSE TO THE SOMA 501
7 ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT OF DOWNTOWN LITTLE ROCK'S
8 APPLICATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, on July 23, 2019, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed
11 Little Rock,Ark.,Ordinance No.21,761 ("LRO 21,761")which permitted the creation of a District pursuant
12 to Arkansas State Law and City Ordinance; and,
13 WHEREAS,the City Board of Directors has determined the creation of a Temporary Entertainment
14 District as proposed by LRO 21,761, is appropriate as recommended by the Planning& Development
15 Department.
16 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
18 Section 1. The SoMa 501 Entertainment District is hereby extended by the City of Little Rock as a
19 Temporary Entertainment District for the following date(s): June 13, 2026, and subject to LRO 21,761 as
20 amended and its defined terms.
21 Section 2.Boundaries. The SoMa 501 Entertainment District boundaries are particularly described as
22 a half block East of Main Street to the half block west of Main Street starting at 12th Street,down to 17`h
23 Street.
24 Section 3. Timeframe. The SoMa 501 Entertainment District will be designated as a Temporary
25 Entertainment District upon the adoption of this Resolution and shall expire on June 13, 2026. The SoMa
26 501 Temporary Entertainment District will operate from 10:00 a.m.to 10:00 p.m.
27 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
31 resolution.
32 Section 5.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
