Here are the necessary documents for a COA application. Basically we require that you
fill in the application and return it to us before the filing deadline. The filing deadline
for the August 4, 2005 hearing is July 6, 2005.
For proper zoning definition and to find out if what you are requesting is allowed, please
contact our zoning desk at 501-371-4844. Staff will verify this information.
As part of the application you will need to notify property owners within 150 feet of your
property. These notices must be mailed 10 days before the hearing. To obtain the
addresses of property owners you will need to contact a licensed abstract company. You
will need to mail out, by Certified Mail, the "Notice of Public Hearing" to all property
owners within 150 feet.
All necessary drawings, elevations, materials, etc. will need to be submitted to us 3 weeks
before the hearing. The earlier we receive them the easier my job is!
If you cannot attend the meeting you are welcome to hire an agent to represent you and
will need proof that you have authorized the agent to represent you. We may be able to
work out something if you or your agent cannot attend.
