Dear Mr. Henry:
I reviewed your request for 1006 Rock Street. I have asked
Molly Satterfield to add this case to the Historic District
Commission of January 12, 1995. I am making this request on
behalf of staff which should alleviate the problem of the
applicant being present.
If we put this item on the agenda, you will be contacted by
Molly. I have also checked into the cost of demolition for
1006 Rock. The low estimate we received was $2,495.
As you know, our demolition funds are limited, and this
structure may or may not be razed. If your client wants to
pay for the demolition, then they should send us a check for
$2,495 and we will take care of getting it removed, if it is
approved by the Historic District Commission.
