Re: Historic District Commission/Certificate of Appropriateness
Dear Mr. Polk:
With this letter of application and an "Application for a Certificate of
Appropriateness" form, I am following procedure in submitting a request for
demolition of the structure located at 1006 Rock Street in the MacArthur Park
Historic District.
I am making this request as co-owner of the property, with ownership
transferred on May 7, 1997 along with title to the property at 1010 Rock Street,
known as the Baer House. Co-owner of these properties is my wife, V. Anne
Guthrie.
I request that my hearing before the Historic District Commission be
scheduled at its regular July meeting, which I understand will be Thursday, July 2.
I will be submitting supporting documents prior to the meeting and look
forward to making a presentation at that time.
