Dear Mr. Polk:
I am writing with respect to the certified mailing of the Notice of Public
Hearing. Attached is a documentation from Standard Abstract, requested on May
29, 1998 and secured on June 12, 1998.
As the enclosed photocopies show, a mailing went to each of the names
indicated, consistent with the list provided by Standard Abstract. The Notice of
Public Hearing form (copy attached) was included.
Furthermore, the property at 1000 Rock Street is about to close. I spoke
with the soon -to -be new owner, Betty Deislinger, on June 22. Since closing has
not yet occurred, Virdie May Herbert remains the owner of record at the time.
However, Mrs. Deislinger will be sending comment by separate letter.
Upon receipt of the green return postcards from the certified mailing, I will
forward them to your attention.
