3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH TJ PAUSCHERT TRUCK HAULING,LLC,IN
5 AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND
6 DOLLARS ($100,000.00), FOR HAULING SERVICES TO DELIVER
7 AGGREGATE MATERIAL AND SOIL TO THE CITY-OWNED
8 LANDFILL; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock Public Works Department Solid Waste Division("the City")owns
11 and operates a municipal landfill facility; and,
12 WHEREAS, the City must provide and maintain serviceable roads within the landfill to allow for
13 proper ingress and egress; and,
14 WHEREAS,the City must maintain compliance with Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality
15 regulations for the covering of waste disposed in the landfill;and,
16 WHEREAS,per procurement procedures,the City issued Bid Event No. 220936 for hauling services
17 to deliver aggregate material and soil necessary for road maintenance and landfill cover; and,
18 WHEREAS, the bid period was open for twenty-one (21) days with the City receiving two (2)
19 responsive bids; and,
20 WHEREAS, based upon review of the responsive bids, TJ Pauschert Truck Hauling, LLC was deter-
21 mined to be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; and,
22 WHEREAS,the term of this Agreement between TJ Pauschert Truck Hauling,LLC and the City shall
23 be one(1)year in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars($100,000.00), with the option
24 for two(2)additional one(1)year extensions upon mutual agreement of both parties.
25 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
26 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
27 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with TJ Pauschert Truck Hauling,
28 LLC, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00), for hauling services to
29 deliver aggregate material and soil to the City-owned landfill for a period of one(1)year, with the option
30 for two(2)additional one(1)year extensions upon mutual agreement.
31 Section 2. Funds for this contract are allocated in the Solid Waste Enterprise Fund.
32 Section 3. Severability. In the event any portion of this Resolution is declared or adjudged to be
33 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this

1 Resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
2 unconstitutional was not originally a part of this Resolution.
3 Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof, which are in conflict with
4 any provision of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
