I live in a similar home on the other side of the alley at 1017 Cumberland St. The roof line adjustment change they've proposed would be a large improvement to the rear of the home, and would have minimal impact on the street view. The proposed changes also manage to keep the chimneys intact. I agree with staff that having dormers and a new ridge become visible is less than ideal, however I'm at a loss as to what else could be recommended. I know that Greg and Stephanie have put a lot of time and consideration into doing right by the street view as much as possible. The proposed metal fence is ornate, but I hear they're getting a bargain price on it, and that's pretty blue collar. It looks neat and I wouldn't mind seeing it put to use. bo cQ Min ard, Brian From: Dale Pekar <dale.pekar@gmail. com> Sent: Friday, July 08, 2016 4:50 PM To: Minyard, Brian Subject: Re: July 2016 HDC agenda Follow Up Flag: Follow up Flag Status: Flagged Dear Mr. Minyard, I would like to offer my support for the proposed work at 1014 Rock.
