HomeMy WebLinkAboutHDC1994-011 Memorandum From Arkie Byrd Attorney For Felton Lamb To Melodyy Miller, Rick Purifoy And Felton Lamb 07/07/1999MEMORANDUM To: Melody Miller, Rick Purifoy and Felton Lamb From: Arkie Byrd (Attorney for Felton Lamb) Subject: Corrective Action Plan for Code Violation; Case Number 970351 Date: July 7, 1999 Following is the Correction Actions to be made by Mr. Lamb for bringing the property located at 1015 Rock Street up to code as has been identified by the City of Little Rock, Department of Housing and Neighborhood Programs, Mr. Rick Purifoy, Code Enforcement Officer. 1. Mr. Lamb hereby agrees to start under this corrective plan on or before July 15, 1999. 2. Mr. Lamb's first court date to apprise the Court of his progress is August 19, 1999 at 1:30 p.m. 3. (A) Beginning July 15, 1999, Mr. Lamb shall have sixty (60) days from that date to complete work on the walls and the ceiling of the property. (August 15, 1999 to September 12, 1999) (B) Within the second sixty (60) days of this corrective plan, Mr. Lamb shall complete the kitchen ceiling and the floors. Mr. Lamb indicated that he would build the cabinets and replace the flooring. (September 13, 1999 to November 12, 1999) (C) The third sixty (60) days, electrical work shall be completed. Finishing work which shall include fixtures, switches, final electrical inspection by the City of Little Rock shall be done during this period. (November 13, 1999 to January 11, 2000) (D) The fourth sixty (60) days, plumbing shall be completed and final plumbing inspection shall be conducted by the City (windows for kitchen need to be opened). (January 12, 2000 to March 10, 2000) Melody Miller and Rick Purifoy and Felton Lamb Page 2 July 7, 1999 (E) The fifth sixty (60) days, the exterior walls, except for the roof shall be completed. This includes tucks, foundation, bricks. Exterior work during this period does not include the porch. (March 11, 2000 to May 10, 2000) (F) The sixth sixty (60) days, the roof shall be completed. The exterior doors and the porch shall also be completed. (May 11, 2000 to July 9, 2000) 4. For the first two sixty-day periods of this plan, Mr. Lamb shall appear every thirty (30) days before this Court to give the Court an update of his progress as part of the good -faith effort to complete this plan. 5. Mr. Lamb shall be removed from supervised probation and placed on unsupervised probation. 6. Mr. Lamb agrees that should any problems arise in the completion of any aspect of bringing his house up to code that he is obligated to contact Mr. Purifoy or the City Attorney prior to the expiration of the sixty-day period to inform so that the problem can be addressed in a timely manner. The parties have agreed to the above -referenced schedule and said schedule shall remain in effect until Mr. Lamb has completed the corrective plan.
