Go ;gle 9/ 10/2012 Maintenance Work for 1010 Rock Page 1 of 1 Description of Maintenance Work for 1010 Rock, Little Rock 1. Roof/Trim/Gutter/Paint. Re -roof using asphalt/fiber glass shingles. Remove the 1986-era skylights. Re -flash chimneys. Repair or replace with like materials any deteriorated areas such as rafter ends and moldings at the roof edges, including drip edge. Repair existing gutters. Install gutter on back porch as needed. Re -secure or replace slates as needed on the slate portions of the roof and wall. Repair or replace rafter -ends. Paint the house exterior wood surfaces. 2. Barn. Repair badly deteriorated barn located on the alley. Repair or replace the metal roof with a similar metal roof. Maintain board and batten exterior look. Add period -respective windows, doors to include a hinged garage door, and supporting pillars for the roof to make it a secure, usable space. Paint. 3. Front porch. Repair or replace rotten floorboards, sand and paint. Paint the ceiling. Refinish the front door assembly. Repair the front screen door. 4. Rear porch. Replace 1986-era back door with a wooden door, door and sidelight(s), or door and window more in keeping with the style of the house. Install door overhang using braces and rafters similar in style to those used on the front of the house. Replace second floor windows with casement or double -hung windows more consistent with the house's appearance. Also install on the rear side of the house period -respective windows on the stair landing, the stairs, and the basement stairs. 5.
