Dear Molly:
Thank you for providing the Quapaw Quarter Association an opportunity to comment on the
alterations proposed by Randy Jeffery for the house he now owns at 913 Rock Street in the
MacArthur Park Historic District.
Randy is to be congratulated for tackling the rehabilitation of this very heavily "remuddled" house.
Opening the windows certainly will be a step in the right direction. Since the drawings I have seen
do not provide any details on the proposed alterations (for example, exactly how will the windows
be trimmed out?), the QQA endorses the project subject to the details being worked out to the
satisfaction of the Historic District Commission.
