RE: Riegler Health Services P.A., loth and Rock Streets
Dear Mr. Stiles:
The purpose of the new Riegler Health Services Building
planned for loth and Rock Street is for the medical needs of
the citizens of the area in which it is to be built.
Dr. N.W. Riegler Jr., a second generation physician,
practicing in this area 40 years bought this property
several years ago with the future in mind. Dr. Riegler is
a native of the area having been born and raised at 12th and
Rock Street and desires to continue to serve his long time
patients and friends.
The present clinic located at 1024 Scott Street was built in
1957 and does not meet the required needs for the expanded
medical staff and patient load. It should be noted that no
other medical service is available to persons living east of
the state capitol for approximately 40 city blocks. The
Health Service now has 3 doctors with plans for a fourth
doctor in the near future assuring medical services for many
years to come.
Much time has been spent on the interior plans for an
efficient functional working medical facility. Both for the
staff and patients.
The exterior follows as closely as reasonably possible to
the other buildings in the area. The building will be
finished with an old brick look to blend with the
neighborhood and to insure safety of security and fire
protection.

Every effort will be made to protect the existing trees on
the site, additional trees and shrubbery will be planted to
insure the natural beauty of the area.
