shall fie -read in' full at the public 'hearing, be held by the Historic District
Commission as hereinafter spacified.' Failure to make recommendations within
sixty (60) days after data of receipt shall be takan.ae approval of the report
of the Historic District Commission.
$ECT104 3. The- Historic: District Commission shall hold a public hearing on
'the•estribliehmant of a proposed historic district after giving notice of such r
hearing by publication in newspaper of general circulation in the municipality:
once a weak for three (3) consecutive weeks, the first such publication to be at m
least twenty (20) days prior to said public Bearing. Such notice shall include
the time and place of said hearing", specify the purpose and describe the boundaries
•f the proposed historic district.
SECTION 4. The Historic District Commission shall ,submit a final report. --
with its recommendations and a draft .f a proposed ordinance to the governing
hody of the municipality within sixty (60) days after the public hearing. The
report shall contain the following:.
1. A complete description of the area or areas to be included in the
historic district or districts.' Any single historic district may
embrace noncontiguous lands; y
2. A map showing the exact, boundaries of the area or areas to be `
included within fhe:proposed district o:• districts;
3. A proposed ordinance designed to,wimplement the provisions -of. the
Historic Districts Act, Ark. Stat. Ann.. §519-5001, et seq.; :.
4.. Such other matters as the Commission may deem necessary and advisable,.'
including a statement of purpose and policy.
SECTION 5. -All ordinances and parts -of ordinances in -conflict herevi th are
hereby repealed, cnd-this.ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and 'approval.
