Gentlemen:
This letter is to serve as our written quotation coverina all labor, materials, plant,
And equipment necessary to complete the following: (see attached roof drawing for scope)
1. Existing Slate Roofs: tear off and dispose of resulting refuse.
2. Underlayment: Using "ice and watershield" dry in areas as slate is removed and maintain.
3. RgplagWentShin le: 30 year Architectural heavyweight shingles w/slate look.
4. Sh -Metal work: 4# Lead: soil pipe roof jacks
16 oz. Copper: valleys, roof hatch lid, chimney flashing, thru-roof flashings.
24 ga prefmished: drip edge, rake edge, fascia, counter flashings, chimney caps
26 ga galvanized: rolled cap metal on all hip conditions.
5. Top most flat roofed area: TPO membrane
6. Built in gutters: Rebuilding would require scaffolding entire structure, extensive extra
sheetmetal carpentry labor and material, not to mention difficulty in maintaining future
water -tightness of such a structure. Our quotation includes covering built-in gutters with
treated 3/a" treated plywood and matching granule surfaced membrane and ranging 6"
prefmished ogee guttering and downspouts.
7. Other flat seamed roof areas: power wash clean and reinforce joints, seams, and corners
and re -coat with white acrylic coating.
8. Roof scuttle: rebuild and raise height of perimeter flashing. Recover lid with copper.
9. Housekeeping: Maintain clean surroundings on a daily basis.
10, Warranties: Ketcher & Company 2 year labor and materials warranty. All other
manufacturer's material warranties included.
