HAND DELIVERED As per your request, I have removed the above referenced sign. It is at the sign shop awaiting the outcome of the public hearing on November 1, 1990. I am enclosing copies of the notices sent to all property owners within 150' of the subject property. All parties have received their notices as indicated by the return receipts. I am also including several pictures of the sign, taken prior to its removal. I would appreciate these being circulated to the Commission members prior to, or at the meeting November 1st. If they did not see the sign before it came down these pictures might help them visualize better. I want to apologize to the Quapaw Quarter Association, the State Historic Preservation Program, the City of Little Rock and my neighbors for getting the cart before the horse. It was, and still is, not my intention to violate any rules, or ordinances, nor was it my intention to disregard these regulations. It was shear ignorance on my part. I realize that ignorance is no excuse. Now that you have provided me with the printed word on signage in the Historic Districts I will be better informed. I have also included copies of some verbiage that better describes my original intent in the design and location of the sign. It might be helpful if this were circulated prior to, or at the meeting on the 1st. PAGE 2 OF 2 If there is anything else that I need to do prior to the Commission meeting please advise. Should you have any questions in the mean time please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, GRAYSON PROPERTY COMPANY, INC. Fred J. Gray, , CPM President FJG/lg Enclosures
