I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for contributing your time and
efforts to help protect an era of Little Rocks' downtown history that requires
protecting.
Although my application for a sign variance was unsuccessful, I gained from
the experience by being exposed to a committed group of people, and a process
that, in the long run, will help preserve some of our disappearing heritage.
My plans for the sign are to cut it down to the approved size and move it 5' to
the Southwest, as per the traffic department requirement. My application will
be presented through the city's sign permit department. I am sure you will
have a chance to review it before the permit is granted.
Thanks again for your consideration of my application. I hope not to have to
come before this august body again, as a group, I do, however, look forward to
seeing and working with you individually in the future. If I may ever be of
assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.
