Please see attached copy of the COA Amendment for your project. The original COA Amendment will be mailed to the owner’s mailing address listed with the county assessor. Please upload the attached copy of the signed COA Amendment to your building permit application when you apply in the permit portal, if one is required. The COA, or the copy, is required to be posted to the property in a location visible from the public right- of-way during your project work. This is primarily for our code enforcement officers and surrounding neighbors to see that the work has been permitted. Once you have completed the work and are ready for inspection, a COA inspection will need to be scheduled in addition to regular inspection types relevant to the project scope. At this time, please reach out to schedule a date and time at your convenience to review the work and complete the COA inspection. The first attachment is what was approved, the second is the proposed change with bead board full height. You said you might prefer bead board not extend full height so provide painted smooth panel in the upper where window was? Bead board full height offers a little visual texture to the surface. Your emails have been consistently routed to the spam folder despite repeated adjustments to the filter settings—I'm unsure why this issue persists. Could you please provide additional context regarding the proposed modifications to the approved scope and design? Staff has the authority to administratively review and approve minor scope changes during construction. If pursuing this route is preferable to returning to the Commission, I would recommend enclosing the two areas using simple solid panels in lieu of siding. Please note that the original concerns outlined in the staff report and raised during the Commission meeting regarding the use of horizontal siding remain applicable to this proposed change.
