HomeMy WebLinkAbout17036 1 RESOLUTION NO. 17,036 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO AN ADVANCED PURCHASE ORDER CONTRACT WITH CINTAS 5 CORPORATION, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY THOUSAND 6 DOLLARS ($60,000.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR 7 THE PURCHASE OF UNIFORM RENTAL SERVICES TO OUTFIT FLEET 8 SERVICES DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL WITH WORK WEAR,FOR THE 9 PERIOD OF ONE (1)YEAR;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, the City's Fleet Services Department utilizes uniform rental services to provide its 12 employees with required department uniforms;and, 13 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark. Resolution No. 16,603 (February 18, 2025), vendor 14 selection was made through Omnia Partners,Contract No. 001299; and, 15 WHEREAS, the expected cost to purchase uniform rental services to outfit City's Fleet Services 16 employees,is in an amount not to exceed Sixty Thousand Dollars($60,000.00), including applicable taxes 17 and fees,pursuant to the vendor's quote attached hereto as Exhibit A. 18 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS; 20 Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Cintas Corporation,in an amount 21 not to exceed Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00), including applicable taxes and fees, for the purchase 22 of uniform rental services to outfit City's Fleet Services employees,for the period of one(1)year 23 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in various Fleet Accounts Nos.: 600031-60030, 24 600036-60030, 600011-60030 and 601001-60030. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4.Repealer.
