HomeMy WebLinkAboutHDC2008-015 Letter From Brian Minyard To Greg Fetzeer Subject: Rock Street 04/21/2008Minyard, Brian From: Minyard, Brian Sent: Monday, April 21, 2008 1:06 PM To: 'Greg Fetzer' Subject: RE: Rock Street the commission approved a iron fence only, unfortunately for you, not a wall/fence combo. The commission requires a public hearing for an addition of a retaining wall for the fence to sit upon. The commission has public hearing once a month, which will require an abstract company finding property owners within 150 feet of the property. But, if you and you neighbor did it at the same time, you may be able to save some expenses on the abstract list if worked properly. you would have to attend the hearing, etc.... let me know what you decide, Brian Minyard, AICP bminyard@littlerock.org (501) 371-4789 fax (501) 399-3435 -----Original Message ----- From: Greg Fetzer [mailto:gregfetzer@mac.com] Sent: Monday, April 21, 2008 1:00 PM To: Minyard, Brian Subject: Re: Rock Street Will do. It appears the only difference is that we would like to secure the iron fence in a 2 ft brick retaining wall instead of just putting it in the ground. Tina sold the vacant lot to Alice Lightle and Debbie Wilhite. I believe they are interested in the retaining wall and fence to go across that lot as well, but will mention it and try to submit something together. Make sense? NEIGHBORHOOD COMMENTS .AND REACTION: At the time of distribution, there was one comment on the application. The comment addressed the reduced building setback Line of three feet between the proposed Cumberland building and the adjacent property to the south. Staff notes that part of the Zoning application that was beard at the Jul} 7, 2003 hearing partly because of the reduced setbacks.
