AN ORDINANCE ✓To ABANDON AND VACATE AN ALLEY RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH IN THE MIDDLE OF BLOCK 41,
ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the Board of .Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
on the 6th day of December, 1972, asking that the Board of Directors vacate and abandon the alley
which runs North and South in the middle of Block 41, Original City of Little'Rock, said alley abutting
on the East sides of Lits 1 through 6 and on the West sides of Lots 7 through 12 of said Block; and
WHEREAS, after due notice required by law, the Board has, at the time and place mentioned in the
notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has as that the alley,
hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as an alley; has not actually
been used by the public generally for more than five years prior to the filing of said petition; that
petitioners own all of the property abutting on the alley to be vacated and have filed their written
consent to such abandonment; and that the public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected
by the abandonment of said alley:,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock hereby releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights
