TO: HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION AND
INTERESTED PARTIES

SUBJECT: HISTORIC DISTRICT PUBLIC HEARING
Please be advised that there is a public hearing of the
Historic District Commnission scheduled for Thursday,
J utjV-4r , 1987 at 4:00 p.m. in the Board of Directors Chamber
Room on the Second Floor of City Hall.
Two items are on the agenda. First, a reconsideration
request from the American Legion Post #1 for parking lot
improvements at 522 Rock Street. Enclosed you should find a
copy of the previous conditions of approval by the Historic
District Commission, a copy of their proposed plan and their
letter addressing each of the conditions. This reconsidera-
tion issue will require a unanimous vote from all members to
place it on the next regular meeting for April 3, 1987.
The other item is the review of a National Register
Nomination for the structure at 1700 S. Louisiana called the
Turner -Ledbetter House owned by Dr. and Ms. Dan Cook.
