3 A RESOLUTION TO SET MAY 5, 2026, AS THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC
4 HEARING TO FORM AND LAY OFF THE KENWOOD PROJECT
5 MULTIPURPOSE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2026-002; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS,the City Clerk has been provided with a petition executed by the owners of a majority in
9 value of the relevant property to form and lay off the Kenwood Project Multipurpose Improvement
10 District No.2026-002 for the purposes set out in Arkansas Act 113 of 1987 and A.C.A. §14-94-101 through
11 §14-94-128; and,
12 WHEREAS,the property associated with the Kenwood Project Multipurpose Improvement District
13 No. 2026-002 is more completely described as set forth in Exhibit"A".
14 WHEREAS,before such action can be taken, it is necessary to have a public hearing before the Little
15 Rock Board of Directors.
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. A public hearing on the question of whether to form and lay off the Kenwood Project
19 Multipurpose Improvement District No. 2026-002 shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of
20 the City of Little Rock at Little Rock City Hall, 2nd Floor, 500 West Markham, Little Rock, Arkansas on
21 May 5,2026 at 6:00 p.m., or as soon as the matter is reached on the agenda.
22 Section 2.The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by
23 Arkansas State Law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published
24 in Pulaski County, Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas.
25 Section 3. All persons who request further information about this proposed Improvement District may
26 view the documents on file with the City Clerk, 2'd Floor, City Hall, 500 West Markham, Little Rock,
27 Arkansas; or, to contact counsel for the proposed district: Jackson Law Firm, 700 West Broadway Street,
28 Suite 200,North Little Rock,Arkansas 72114-5528.
29 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
33 resolution.

1 Section 5. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
