3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH A&C VENTURES, LLC, IN AN AMOUNT OF
5 ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-THREE THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED FIFTY-
6 FIVE DOLLARS ($133,655.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES,
7 FOR THE RESURFACING OF REBSAMEN TENNIS CENTER'S
8 FOURTEEN(14)TENNIS COURTS;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,under Little Rock,Ark., Resolution Nos. 17,003, 17,004, and 17,005 (March 17, 2026),
11 the City accepted grant funds to cover the cost of resurfacing fourteen of the asphalt tennis courts at
12 Rebsamen Tennis Center; and,
13 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark. Resolution No. 16,603 (February 18, 2025), vendor
14 selection of A&C Ventures, LLC,was made through Sourcewell Request for Proposal No. 031022,and,
15 WHEREAS, A&C Ventures,LLC,as an authorized service provider on behalf of Astro Turf,submitted
16 a pricing proposal in the amount of One Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand, Six Hundred Fifty-Five Dollars
17 ($133,655.00).
18 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with A&C Ventures, LLC, in an
21 amount of One Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand, Six Hundred Fifty-Five Dollars ($133,655.00), plus
22 applicable taxes and fees,for the resurfacing of Rebsamen Tennis Center's fourteen(14)tennis courts.
23 Section 2. Funds for this expenditure are available in the following Accounts:
24 • AR Tennis Patrons Rebsamen Tennis Project Account No. 270459, Activity No. G45F261, -
25 $10,000.00.
26 • USTA Southern Build It Project Account No. 270459,Activity No.G45F262- $17,500.00.
27 • STA Tennis Venue Services Account No. 270459,Activity No. G45F263 - $42,000.00; and
28 • Account No. 108459,Activity No. S45A711 Parks' 1%Lodging Tax- $64,155.00.
29 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
33 resolution.

1 Section 4.Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
