3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH IMPACT MANAGEMENT GROUP AND
5 MITCHELL, WILLIAMS, SELIG, GATES & WOODYARD, PLLC,IN
6 AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
7 ($55,000.00),TO PROVIDE GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS AND
8 CONSULTING SERVICES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock,Arkansas, solicited qualifications to hire a firm or firms engaged
11 in a joint venture for Governmental Affairs and Consulting Services; and,
12 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock chose the joint venture by Impact Management Group and
13 Mitchell,Williams, Selig,Gates&Woodyard,PLLC,after reviewing submitted proposals;and,
14 WHEREAS,Professional Services of this nature are crucial to ensure the City is well represented with
15 the Arkansas General Assembly on any issues that may arise,ranging from appropriations to programs and
16 other legislative mandates.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
18 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1.The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Impact Management
20 and Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard to provide Governmental Affairs and Consulting
21 Services.
22 Section 2.The City of Little Rock will pay up to Fifty Thousand Dollars($55,000.00)for the services
23 to be provided from May 1,2026 through May 31,2007. The contract may be extended up to two(2),twelve
24 (12)-month periods upon mutual consent of all parties.
25 Section 3.Severability.In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word
26 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional,such declaration or adjudication
27 shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
28 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
29 Section 4.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent
30 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
