Mr Minyard,
Thank you for your helpful review. In response you your "Letter for Permit Differences" to Paul
Page Dwellings dated February 18, 2015 and itemized list of changes dated February 10,
2015, the following points are offered.
Per your letter, option 2 states that it would be acceptable to "build as described in [Paul Page
Dwellings'] letter of October 9, 2014.
The following changes exhibited in the Permit Drawing set are prop?sed to be reverted to
match the application approved by HDC: r
.a! Window (type "A") to be removed from third floor of Weft Facade
2x2 window omitted from first floor of South Facade to be added back.
Window (type "B") with transom at West end third floor of North Facade to be changed

# Painted accent panel to be added between windows (type "G") on second and third
floors of North Facade.
The following changes cannot be reverted due to Code compliance or conflict with Structural
systems.
Trapezoid window above window (type "G") on third floor, west side of North Facade
conflicts with roof framing and therefore cannot be implemented.

-�4 Southwest entry overhang has been extended to maintain ADA accessible access
from site grade elevation to entry door;
a. The ramp leading up to entry required additional length to achieve this.
b. Two (2) windows were removed in horizontal band of polycarbonate due to the
requisite shortening of the wall.
Minor changes to width of Southwest Entrydoor and window unit were required to
- v , coordinate with Structural Framing and Interior Programming. -,4
V Entry door at stairwell on South Facade is not required by code as anticipated and has

7. Windows in stairwell (two) have been omitted due to current fire code; once a future
building is erected to south, as proposed in PCD, unpr tested openings will not be
allowed in the egress stair wall assembly. �q g.tq ? V-
8. Final building height is set at the minimum possible height while providing floor heights
proposed in the approved HDC application. Third floor ceilings at West end of Third
floor are currently proposed at 8ft above finish floor; code minimum ceiling height in
this area is 7'-4".
A facade diagram has been provided to further illustrate the above changes. Please consider
the proposed reverted changes and items which cannot be reverted when processing the
building permit application.
Any suggestions or questions are welcome as an expeditious resolution is sought on behalf of
Paul Page Dwellings to avoid the potential expense which could come with further delay.
