Historic District Commissioners:
Please deny a Certificate of Appropriateness for the proposed development at 1003 McMath. In no way can
this structure be seen as blending "...with the existing neighborhood and area of influence" as required by City
Ordinance Sec 23-120.
Allowing structures such as these in the MacArthur Park Historic District only contributes to its
degradation. We should be working to improve the District's historicity rather than allowing its pollution by
current -day architectural oddities.
