Good afternoon, Mr. Pabani,
Thank you for your visit yesterday to our oƯice regarding the property approximately located at the NWC
of Kanis Road and Point West Drive. The property is located in the Ellis Mountain planning district and
the land use designation for this property is Suburban OƯice. The Suburban OƯice designation is meant
to provide for low intensity development of oƯice or oƯice parks in close proximity to lower density
residential areas. A Planned Zoning District is required for development in these areas. However, it is my
understanding that you would like to request a Land Use Plan Amendment to allow for uses that are
primarily compatible with the Neighborhood Commercial designation.
Please familiarize yourself with the land use narrative for the Ellis Mountain planning district to guide
your request, available here: City Master Plans. You will need to complete and file a Land Use Plan
Amendment application, attached here, by the filing deadline associated with the desired Planning
Commission hearing date, calendar attached here.
